Delete Your SantonViva Account

Effective date: 9 October 2026. You can request deletion of the marketplace account used on santonviva.com and in the SantonViva mobile app.

How to request deletion

Email sales@santonviva.com with the subject Delete my SantonViva account. Send the request from the registered email where possible and provide the username or contact identifier needed to find the account. If you cannot access that email, contact support on +256 700 948 008 for proportionate verification. Do not send your password, PIN, one-time code or a full payment-card image. A representative should explain their authority.

What happens next

We will verify the request as reasonably necessary, review outstanding orders, refunds and legal record obligations, and communicate our decision and next steps. Uganda's Regulations require a written decision within seven days for specified correction or deletion requests. That decision period is not a promise that every lawful retained record disappears within seven days. If part of the request is refused or delayed for a lawful reason, we will explain the reason and relevant retention basis.

Information removed and retained

Information no longer needed for a lawful purpose should be deleted or anonymised. Order, payment and accounting records that must be kept for tax, dispute or other legal requirements may remain for the applicable period, with use limited to that purpose. Relevant tax records generally require at least five years; specific proceedings can justify longer retention. Backups may retain residual copies until the applicable cycle expires and must not be used to restore deleted data to ordinary use.

Independent sellers and payment providers may have their own legal retention responsibilities. We will address information within our responsibility and explain relevant recipients where appropriate. Deleting an account does not remove a refund or other legal entitlement. Uninstalling the app alone does not delete an account.
